That compares to seven-percent for the School Board election in April. The opt out was 160 votes short of passing. Ward 1 voters were 57 percent against and 42-percent in favor or 539 votes to 405. Ward 2 voters were 51 percent against and 48 percent for the opt out, or 574 to 548.
