An incident last Thursday involving an employee of the Western Area Power Administration in Huron, has led to the a request for temporary security from the Huron Police Department for the federal agency. The Huron City Commission approved an intergovernmental agreement that says up to three uniformed Huron police officers will provide security at two WAPA locations in Huron from 6 AM to 6 PM until Friday.
