An incident last Thursday involving an employee of the Western Area Power Administration in Huron, has led to the a request for temporary security from the Huron Police Department for the federal agency. WAPA has told city officials they intend to cover the full costs of the officers which could include up to 36 hours of overtime. Details about the incident that prompted the request for temporary security by Huron police have not been released.
