20-21 HURON SCHOOL DISTRICT CALENDAR

The Huron school district board of education met for their regular meeting this past Monday night.  On the agenda was a board modified calendar for 20-21 school year.  There were 3 proposed calendars one the current starting after Labor Day, a second from the calendar committee and a third modified version of the calendar committee proposal.  Following presentation of students feedback and other responses and a good discussion of the proposals a motion was made by David Wheeler to vote on the school board modified calendar committee proposal to start the 2020-2021 school year on August 24.  That calendar vote passed on a 3-2 vote.
