The Huron City Commission and Board of Education will both have meetings tonight.
School Board meets at 530 in the Instructional Planning Center at the Arena. On the agenda is a report from the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation, and also from the Associated School Boards of South Dakota Delegate Assembly.
An Executive session is also planned.
City Commission meets at 5:30 in the Municipal Building. On the agenda is proclamations honoring Shawn Martin as he leaves Performance Radio, and Roger Larsen, who is retiring from the Plainsman, plus there will be approval of a health insurance plan for 2020, Consider renewal of the Joint Funding Agreement with US Geological Survey for the streamflow gaging station on the James River, Consider Police Officer hiring incentive program that was outlined last week, plus the commission will announce the Thanksgiving holiday schedule.
A work session and executive session are also scheduled.
Both meetings tonight are open to the public.
