Over $2,000 Raised at Huron/Mitchell Game for Injured Player

Football fans from Huron and Mitchell came together last night to support an injured player from Britton/Hecla.

Last Friday, Trevor Zuehlke suffered a head injury that resulted in a brain bleed. He was airlifted to Sioux Falls where he had surgery on his brain to relieve pressure, and he is in an induced coma at last report. Tiger Roar Booster Club had a donation area at the entry to Tiger Stadium, and also passed buckets around in the crowd at the end of the first quarter. A total of $2,267.50 was raised for the Zuehlke family.

Many other fundraisers were held at football games across the state last night as well.
