New Football Coach Hopes to Maintain Tiger’s Momentum

Huron Tiger football hopes to keep momentum going this year after making it to the dome for the 1st time in 25 years last year.

Scott Spanton is the new head coach of the Tigers says they are working on the learning curve of a new system.

Spanton is a native of Milbank but has spent the past 30 years coaching in Texas, mainly in the San Antonio area. Not suprisingly, Spanton says the defense is ahead of the offense at this point.

Huron opens the season at Brookings Friday night.
