A state prison inmate has died following an illness.
Inmate Bryan Thompson passed away in the infirmary of the Jameson Annex to the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls on Saturday, June 22.
Thompson, age 45, was serving multiple sentences out of Davison County for possession of child pornography.
