Around 150 More Contestants Expected at this Year’s NJHFR

The SD State Fairgrounds will again be populated by cowboys and cowgirls from around the world when the National Junior High Finals Rodeo begins in Huron on June 23rd.

State Fair Assistant Manager Candi Briley, says contestants will actually beginning arriving for check-in beginning at noon on June 20th.

This the second year for the rodeo in Huron. Briley says they learned a lot last year.

Briley says they have been told there will be an increase of around 150 contestants for this year’s NJHFR.
