The Beadle County Commission has approved an emergency declaration for part of County Road no. 1.
Commissioner Tom Hansen says the portion is located south of Wessington.
In other business, Hansen says the commission has set the date for the tax deed sale for July 30th.
Commissioners also heard a presentation by Rhonda Kludt and Jen Bragg of United Way Heartland Region on the 211 Helpline.
