He rose to country music stardom with partner Kix Brook’s and now Ronnie Dunn’s solo career will lead him to Huron and the South Dakota State Fair. Dunn was announced late Tuesday as the final headlining act at the State Fair. Dunn will perform Saturday September 3rd. Helping get Dunn to the State Fair is Jack Links Beef Jerky. Dunn’s first single off his initial release is “Bleed Red”. Dunn joins the likes of Cheap Trick and Don Williams as musical grandstand acts. For the first time hard liquor sales will be permitted in the VIP lounge area under the grandstands prior to the concerts. Other Grandstand events include the two-day Red Wilk Construction C-B-R Bull Bash to start the Fair and stock car races to close out the Fair on Monday. Ticket prices have also been released by the State Fair. Bull Bash tickets will run 15-dollars for adults and $12 for youth. Don Williams tickets are 35-dollars for standing and $30 for reserved. Ronnie Dunn tickets are 45-dollars for standing and 40 for reserved. Cheap Trick with the Little River Band and Kory and the Fireflies are 40-dollars standing and 35 reserved.
