Huron Tiger gymnastics will head to the ESD conference meet short handed Saturday in Brookings.
Huron lost junior standout Kassie Decker for the season in December, and now fellow junior Erica Zell, one of the top gymnasts in the state, is out for the rest of the season as well. Tiger head coach Julie King says it’s been a tough season.
King says she has confidence in the girls who will compete Saturday.
Besides competing for conference honors, the ESD also determines team and individual qualifiers for the state gymnastics meet, which begins a week from tomorrow, also in Brookings.
