Shopko is closing its two stores in Sioux Falls.
The Green Bay-based company also filed for federal bankruptcy protection yesterday.
The company also announced another lengthy list of stores it was closing across the country.
The final day for the Sioux Falls stores is April 15th.
Recently, the retailer announced it was closing Shopko Hometown stores in Redfield, Dell Rapids, Wagner, and Webster.
There is some good news. The list of South Dakota Shopko stores closing has decreased by one.
The Shopko store in Chamberlain will remain open. The store was on a previous closure list that was released last week. However, Shopko’s Corporate Public Relations Manager, Michelle Hansen, says the Chamberlain store has been removed from the closure list and will remain open.
