A winter storm warning goes into effect at 9 am today (Wed.) and remains until 6 am Friday morning.
Meteorologist Nick Carlyle says the snowfall will become heavier as we move into the late morning and early afternoon.
Carlyle expects heavy snowfall tonight and tomorrow.
Areas west of Interstate 29 could see 8-16 inches of snow.
