Power Outage Presents Novel Coaching Dilemma For Buddenhagen

Tuesday night’s girls basketball game at the Huron Arena was interrupted by a power outage that affected a large part of north and central Huron. The lights went off 7:16 to go in the 3rd quarter and the delay lasted over 45 minutes. Huron head coach Tim Buddenhagen said it was a new situation for him.

Huron was leading 26-12 at the time and went on to a 42-29 win over Sioux Falls Roosevelt. The girls will travel to Rapid City for games with Rapid City Stevens and Central this weekend.
