Last night, the city got an update from Greater Huron Development Corporation president and executive director David McGirr.
McGirr said Greater Huron recently began making retention and expansion visits to Huron businesses.
McGirr also gave a progress report on Greater Huron’s 9th spec building at 191 Union Avenue SW, in the West Industrial Park.
He says unlike previous spec buildings, this will be a turn-key facility.
Greater Huron is working with local businesses and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development to find a tenant.
