Nathan Sanderson began his new job as Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association this week.
He had been in Governor Dennis Daugaards office over the past eight years.
Sanderson says he is ready to work with the association and its members.
Sanderson says his background in state government fit well with the retailers.
Sanderson says while they don’t have a complete legislative agenda yet, he expects much of their attention will be focused on the changes in online retail taxes due to the Wayfair court case.
Sanderson replaces longtime Executive Director Shawn Lyons who left due to health issues.
