Jackley Says Attorney Generals Working Together on Priest Abuse Cases

The reports of thousands of cases of abuse of young people for many years by Catholic priests in Pennsylvania has other states on alert.

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says there are ongoing discussions.

Jackley says they need information on a possible crime to open an official investigation.

Jackley says there are some limits to what can be included in the investigation.

Pennsylvania used a state wide grand jury for the investigation, which many states don’t have available.
