The Huron Luxury Cinemas will host the South Dakota premiere of a new retelling of a classic story at the Huron theatre and the company’s other theatres, in Mitchell and Dell Rapids.
Armando Gutierrez plays a lead role and is the producer of the live action version of “The Little Mermaid.” He says the movie is based on the characters from the original story by Hans Christian Anderson.
Guitierrez says Hollywood legend Shirley MacLaine plays a pivotal role in the movie.
Gutierrez produced “Walt Before Mickey” which had its Midwestern Premiere at the three Logan Luxury theaters.
Gutierrez will be in Huron Friday afternoon, August 24. He will be at the red carpet event at the theatre at 4:00 to introduce the film and sign autographs. “The Little Mermaid” will play for one week through Thursday, August 30.
