Jury selection starts today in the RE-trial of Ken Huber. The former Highmore police cheif was sentenced to life in prison for first degree murder in the shooting death of his wife Pam. Huber’s re-trial has been moved to the Beadle County Courthouse in Huron. Huber told investigators his pistol fired accidentally as he moved it from a bedroom dresser to a gun safe. Pam Huber was shot once in the forehead in October 2007 and died several days later in a hospital. Jury selection will run through Firday with testimony slated for two week starting Monday.
