Phone calls continue to pour into the Davison County Jail from across the nation and overseas.
Chief Deputy Steve Harr says while the caller I-D lists the Davison County Jail, the scammers are leaving voice mails giving a different number to call back. He says it’s frustrating because the jail does not make these type of calls or ask for money ever.
Harr says the jail is getting several hundred calls a day regarding the scam and there’s nothing it can do to stop it.
