Board of Education Approves 1st Reading of Branding Package

The Board of Education got an update on a branding package that will include a new school logo and a new head for the Huron Tiger.

1st reading of the branding package proposal was approved at last night’s Board meeting.

Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Sherri Nelson says there is support for two tiger faces which convey different attitudes appropriate to their usage.

Superintendent Terry Nebelsick says the purpose of selecting a new tiger head is to avoid licensing issues in the future.

The board wants community feedback on the branding package. You can take a look at the proposed logo and tiger heads at https://flipgrid.com/95dd94.
