Governor Defends Johnson Against Accusations of Misuse of State Plane

Governor Dennis Daugaard says he has been following the campaigns for the upcoming primary election, including the recent accusation from Secretary of State and US House candidate Shantel Krebs regarding the use of the state plane for personal trips by her opponent and former Daugaard Chief of Staff Dusty Johnson.

The governor says Johnson did use the state plane for state business.

Johnson, Krebs, and State Senator Neal Tapio of Watertown are vying for the Republican nomination for South Dakota’s lone US House seat.
