Thune Says Congress Has Plenty of Work Ahead Following Memorial Day Break

Congress is on the Memorial Day break, returning to Washington next week.

They will also take a week around the Fourth of July, then the August break is scheduled for August sixth through September third.

South Dakota Senator John Thune says there still some bills that need attention

Thune says another priority is to work through the twelve budget bills

Thune says Congress has passed some bills, and sent them on to the President

Another bill passed by Congress rolls back a number of banking rules and regulations.
