Residents of Sunquest Healthcare Center were evacuated yesterday evening after a small fire broke out in an office at the facility.
Laurie Solem, administrator at Sunquest Healthcare Center, says the fire began at 6:34 Thursday evening.
Huron Fire Chief Ron Hines says the sprinkler system took care of the fire.
There were no injuries, however, residents were evacuated from the facility as a precaution. Solem credits her staff for an orderly evacuation.
Solem reports there was damage to the office where the fire broke out and water damage to adjacent offices.
Hines says the official cause of the fire has not been determined.
