The Huron City Commission gets back to work tonight after missing last week due to Presidents Day. The Commission will consider awarding a bid for construction of a concrete trail on top of the Swimming Pool Dike. The Commission will consider setting bid dates on two items and will consider purchasing a front end loader off a bid by the City Of Dickenson North Dakota. Semi-Annual updates from the Beadle County Humane Society and the Crossroads will be held. A Public Hearing will be held for a Special On-sale alcohol license for the Heartland Pool and Dart Tournament at the Crossroads Hotel and Huron Event Center. Commissioners will also consider an agreement with Dakota Provisions relating to the East Side Water Tower, contract with the Beadle County Humane Society and and renewal of the Walk-In Access Hunting area with the state Game Fish and Parks Department. The Commission will also consider a change with Robert Sharp and Associates on the City website project. Commissioners will consider a hiring request for the Park and Rec department before meeting in executive session for a contractual matter. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public
