This spring’s weather has wreaked havoc on all spring sports, and while there isn’t 18 inches of snow in the forecast again, cooler than normal temperatures are expected for at least the next week.
Huron Tiger track and field has had one indoor and one outdoor meet so far, and head coach Tom Baszler says he’s never seen anything like this.
Baszler says the recent re-modeling at Tiger Stadium has had a positive impact on the team’s workouts.
Huron was scheduled to travel to Harrisburg tomorrow for a meet that was added to the schedule a couple weeks ago, but that has been postponed. Meets in Redfield Thursday and Pierre Friday are still scheduled.
