The Huron School District is adding an orchestra position.
Superintendent Terry Nebelsick says the program has grown to the point that it is too large for one instructor to manage.
Nebelsick says this the next step in an effort to support music programs in the district.
Nebelsick says the district will be adding another position to meet the needs of the district.
Also last night, the board approved continuing membership in the South Dakota High School Activities Association.
