The Huron City Commission is set to meet tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will consider setting a date to accept bids for constructing a walking trail on top of the dike built around the Municipal Pool parking lot. The Commission will also consider a changer order request on a lift station project. The Huron Senior Center will give its first quarterly update of the year and Commissioners will consider an agreement for roof repair work on city buildings. The second and final reading of two ordinances are tonight. One is the 2011 supplemental appropriations. The second is a personnel ordinance that the City Commission has worked and massaged for a number of weeks. Commissioners will consider updates to some city Building Codes and will consider two Fire Department promotions, the resignation of a dispatcher and the hiring of an Experience Works employee for the Water-Sewer Department. The Commission will round out tonight’s meeting in executive session for two items. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 and the meeting is open to the public
