Governor Daugaard was behind schedule and unavailable for comment following a Wednesday afternoon press conference to comment on the cut of Fair funds. A phone call seeking comment from Fair Manger Jerome Hertel was not returned. If the current cut of nearly 32-thousand dollars stands, the State Fair will have lost around 432-thousand dollars in three years.
