Jackley Would Support Medical Marijuana Only with Restrictions

Attorney General Marty Jackley says if he’s elected governor, he would support medicinal marijuana use in South Dakota only if there are certain restrictions in place.

Jackley took a lead role in attempts to stop a marijuana smoking lounge from opening in Flandreau….

Eric Hagen and his company Monarch America helped the Flandreau Santee Sioux tribe grow marijuana as they prepared to launch the country’s first ‘pot lounge’.

Those plans were eventually abandoned, and the crop burned, amid fears of a federal raid.

Hagen was later acquitted on drug possession charges.
