A former employee of Our Home, an organization that works with troubled young people, could face up to 15 years in prison.
KELOLAND News reports that 27-year-old Lena Parker has pleaded guilty to having sexual contact with at least one of the teens at the group home. Court documents state that a 15-year-old client told investigators that the Huron woman gave him inappropriate notes and allowed him to touch her breast. Parker was fired last March.
While the plea agreement indicates there may have been more than one victim, as part of the agreement Parker will not face any additional charges.
A complaint was filed last week, and Parker entered a guilty plea on Tuesday- nearly one year after being dismissed from Our Home. The Division of Criminal Investigation interviewed the victim over a year ago and spoke with Parker in June of 2017.
