PIERRE, SD – A weekend break-in at a Pierre convenience store led to the arrest of five people from four cities in two states. Police Capt. Elton Blemaster says that beer was stolen from Shel’s Quick Stop on Sunday morning. He says the investigation led to a nearby apartment building, where officers arrested two suspects in the burglary and three others on unrelated warrants. Those arrested are from Pierre, Rapid City, Fort Thompson and Mandan, North Dakota.
