The Huron City Commission holds their weekly meeting tonight. Commissioners will consider a contract with Presentation College in Aberdeen for courses at the Huron Community Campus. The Commission will also accept a bid for Water Treatment Chemicals for 2011 and consider a resolution that makes a recommendation to the South Dakota Department of Transportation regarding street lights along US Highway 14 and State Highway 37. The Commission will also hold a public hearing on alcohol licence renewals for next year. The Commission will also authorize Mayor Dave McGirr to sign a renewal application for a construction and demolition debris disposal facility. The Commission has one human resource item to consider. The Huron City Commission begins their meeting tonight at 5:30 PM and the meeting is open to the public.
