Midco Says it Would Support Legislation to Protect Consumers Access to Internet Content

Yesterday, by a 3-2 vote the FCC repealed Obama-era “Net Neutrality” rules.

Opponents of the move believe it could radically change the internet and perhaps even limit free speech.

Dan Nelson , Midco’s Director of Governmental Affairs, says it has never throttled or blocked its Internet customers and doesn’t plan to, now that the FCC has overturned “Net Neutrality” rules.

Nelson says, the company would support Congressional action to prevent ISPs from engaging in those activities

Advocates of “Net Neutrality” say they will challenge the FCC’s ruling in court.
