Next week, November 13th-17th, will be the last week for yard waste collection in the city of Huron. This is due to contents freezing inside the green yard waste containers. Resident may still take yard waste to the city drop off site.
Also, the Solid Waste Dept. is now on Saturday winter hours, 9:00 to 12:30.
In observance of Veteran’s Day, The Solid Waste Dept., and city offices, will be closed on Friday, November 10th and Saturday November 11th. Friday’s garbage, recycling and yard waste collection will be on Wednesday, November 8th. Please make sure to have your
containers out this evening as trucks will not be rerouted.
