Jackley Challenges Noem to Sign Clean Campaign Pledge

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley yesterday called on US Representative Kristi Noem to sign a Clean Campaign Pledge.  The pledge commits both candidates to conducting their campaigns for governor in a positive and factual manner that focuses on records, accomplishments, and issues.  Noem called the request a “campaign PR stunt.”  Jackley says it’s about running clean campaigns.

He says he will respond if the race begins to take an ugly tone.

Jackley and Noem are running for the Republican nomination for South Dakota governor in 2018.
