Temperatures and heat indexes are set to soar later today. That’s the word from National Weather Service Meteorologist Kyle Weisser
A heat advisory is set for 1 pm to 8 pm.
Weisser says if you’re planning outside activities take precautions by drinking plenty of water, take frequent breaks, seek shade and wear light colored clothing. Plus use sunscreen and make sure your pets are protected as well.
He says daytime high temperatures are expected to remain in the 90’s through Saturday.
