Huron Graduate Named Head Cross Country Coach at Gustavus Adolphus

2000 Huron High graduate Brendan Huber has been named head women’s and men’s Cross Country coach at Gustavus Adolphus College, an NCAA Division Three school in St Peter, Minnesota.

Huber has been lead assistant for both cross country and track and field at Gustavus for the past eight years.

He replaces Dale Bahr, who will remain head coach of track and field at the school. Huber will continue his position with the track and field program as well.

Huber was an all state runner at Huron before moving on to the University of South Dakota in Vermillion where he was a cross country and distance runer, and was also President of the Coyote Student-Athlete Advisory Board.

He will begin his new duties immediately.
