The second GOP candidate for the U-S House threw her hat in the ring Monday as South Dakota Secretary of State Shantel Krebs launched her campaign
Before becoming Secretary of State Krebs spent 10 years in the Legislature and was a small business owner.
Former Chief of Staff to Governor Dennis Daugaard and PUC Commissioner Dusty Johnson of Mitchell earlier announced his bid for South Dakota’s lone US House seat and warmly welcomed Krebs to the campaign. Incumbent Congresswoman Kristi Noem is serving her final term in the House and intends to run for Governor in 2018.
