Northeast South Dakota is digging out from a March snowstorm that dumped up to a foot of snow in some areas.
National Weather Service forecaster Ryan Leake says that’s where the heaviest snow fell.
He says we’ll start to melt that snow off by midweek.
4.5 to 5 inches of snow fell in the Huron area thru last evening.
