While Governor Dennis Daugaard mentioned the Blue Ribbon Task Force report on education during his budget address, he did not talk about any specifics. The task force recommended raising teacher pay to an average of forty eight thousand dollars and coming up with seventy five million dollars in new money to pay for it.
