For the 67th time, area performers will be gathering at the Huron High School Auditorium for the Salvation Army Christmas Basket program. The show begins at 6:30 PM tonight through Thursday. Performing tonight will be the Huron Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Chorus, Huron High School Concert Choir, Huron Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Band, Huron High School Orchestra and the Huron High School Concert Band. Admission to the program is free and those unable to view the program in person can see the four-night event on the Huron Tiger Network on Midco Cable Channel six on-line at www.christmasbasket.us and of course on the radio on 1210-AM KOKK. Money raised during the Christmas Basket program will be used for Christmas food baskets and food programs throughout the year for less fortunate families in the Huron area.
