Huron Police Hosting National Night Out Tonight

And while winning prizes and taking part in the fun is an important part of National Night Out, Johnson says the police department hopes to push across an important message…

The event runs from 5:30 to 8:00 P-M. Returning events include a doughnut eating contest, Dunk-a-Cop dunk tank and a demonstration from the HPD’s police service dog Cody. New this year will be characters from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the movie Frozen, ready for photo ops and a bounce house will also available to play in. Skits from the Huron Area Community Theater’s latest production will be performed in the Campbell Park band shell.
