The Huron City Commission meets tonight at the Huron Municipal Building. Commissioners will set a bid date for a project to improve the fairways at Broadland Creek National Golf Course and will consider renewals of biennial Home Occupation permits. The occupations range from taxidermy, dog grooming, small engine repair, landscaping, taco making and more. Hours for the Solid Waste Department will be given for the upcoming 4th of July holiday and a series of reports on Commission Boards and Committees will continue. In the previous two weeks Commissioners Bryan Smith and Doug Kludt gave updates on the happenings with the various boards and committees they are liaisons to. This week Commissioner Gary Harrington will update the Commission. Next week will be Mark Robish. There are no scheduled items for executive session. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM. The meeting is open to the public.
