The City of Huron is in the process of sweetening the deal for prospective buyers of property up for auction in the Southtown Addition. The Huron City Commission approved first reading of an ordinance establishing the area as a redevelopment neighborhood. An auction of parcels in the Southtown Addition is set for March 18th at the Campus Center. The City Commission also authorized Mayor Paul Aylward to act on the city’s behalf during that auction.
