An equipment failure at the Splash Central Waterpark in Huron means visitors will not be blasting into the Lazy River from the park’s signature Master Blaster water coaster for the next few days. Park Manager Laura McGirr says a variable frequency drive in the mechanical room has quit working….
This is the second time a V-F-D unit has fail at the park…
McGirr says they are haven’t lost faith in the company or the product…
Other features of the park remain open for visitors…
McGirr says the V-F-D failed while still under warranty so the unit will be replaced at no cost to Splash Central or the City of Huron.
