Huron School Board Meets Tonight

 

High School 1The Huron City Commission had Monday off due to the Memorial Day holiday but the Huron School Board is simply moving their meeting down one day in the week. School Board members will consider two new hires, a resignation and a contract for approval as a part of the consent agenda. Successes in the district will be acknowledged as well. Reports to the Huron School Board include an E-S-L Program update with director Kari Hinker and the Superintendent’s Report with Terry Nebelsick. A number of dates to remember will be announced before the Huron School Board gets into old business. Old business includes the awarding of bus bids and a lease agreement for Apple iPads. There is no scheduled new business for the Huron School Board. The Board will take any community input then meet in executive session to conduct classified negotiations under South Dakota Codified Law one dash 25 dash two. The Huron School Board meets tonight at 5:30 P-M at the Instructional Planning Center on the second floor of the Huron Arena. The meeting is open to the public.
