The cost of the unit is around seven-thousand dollars. The City of Huron would be responsible for approximately four-thousand dollars of that cost. Similar previous Traffic Safety Grants have been used by the Huron Police Department to help pay for officer overtime for D-U-I enforcement and traffic crash prevention.
