Yard wastes should be placed loosely without bagging in the green yard waste containers. Pet wastes and branches no thicker than three inches are allowed in the containers. The lid must be able to be closed when filled and the City of Huron Solid Waste Department asks the yard waste not be compacted into containers as the container may not fully empty when dumped into collection trucks.
