During the work session last week, City Planner Ralph Borkowski asked if planning and zoning information could be used in the system. Wever said he would look into it. Data regarding residential water shut-offs, water mains and other city infrastructure accumulated over the last few years on another system will be able to be added to the Beehive program. Beehive will allow city maintenance crews to arrive at a location and pull up specific information about that location on a laptop or tablet that can access the system over a wireless Internet connection.
